About the event
It all began when a strong, bold, and courageous woman named Billie Jean "BJ" Jackson started her journey with breast cancer. BJ was a warrior whose spirit still lives on in our hearts and minds today. She began her battle over 20 years ago, and although her journey ended in February 2000, she never saw it as a defeat. Her focus remained on the ultimate goal. Throughout her fight, BJ never stopped fulfilling her duties. She persevered, laughed, and smiled, always encouraging and lending a helping hand to those in need despite her own struggles. Most importantly, she didn't sweat the small stuff, including the disease itself. So, for those of you facing this challenge today, follow her path if you dare.
